The US stock market is once again in the midst of challenging uncertainties, but also opportunities.   First, there are persistent weaknesses in the internal oil markets.  The slowing Chinese economy remains of  concern, and  the  Middle East wars have intensified.  The recent Federal Reserve Bank decision to raise interest rates appears to be sending both positive vibes and worries in the markets.  The job market continues to improve,  European economies are slowly coming back from a recession. But, at the same time, some once thought promising economies have shown major weaknesses. These include Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa.

The US stock market is experiencing a period of challenges and opportunities.   The challenges appear to come from the slowing Chinese economy,  the  continued Middle East wars, and the declining oil prices.  The opportunities may be found from improving European economies, with the Greek crisis finally seeing the light, the significant restructuring of Google, a major tech player,  and the continued discovery of untapped riches in developing economies, especially Africa.

Google has decided to reorganize itself into a holding under the name of Alphabet. Google co-founder, Larry Page has announced the  change in Google corporate structure to become a  holding company with a disparate collection of businesses.b2ap3_thumbnail_GoogleLogo.png

The new company, Alphabet, will be run by Google co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Based on Larry Page's announcement, it appears the new structure may look like this:
